Chitkul is a small village in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated on the banks of Baspa River and is the first village of Baspa valley and the last village on the old Hindustan-Tibet trade route. The village is worth visiting for many reasons such as its outstanding riverside view, close range of the Himalayas, perfect place for walking, overnight camping, soft adventure, trekking and fishing.
